The Endangered Species Chocolate Foundation defines sustainability broadly. Philosophically, like putting coins in a figurative piggy bank, sustainability is an investment in our future.

Creatures and humans depend on each other. Sustainability is about taking care of each other and our environment while attending to our basic needs. Balance between species, habitat and humanity is essential for our planet to survive and thrive.
